Job Summary: A family of three, soon to be four, are seeking a daily nanny to work both collaboratively and independently caring for their 14-month-old son and new-born baby when he/she arrives! A great opportunity to join a family at a very exciting time as they look forward to their second child’s arrival. The family have a primary residence in London that they use during the weekdays and have a second residence in Suffolk that they use at weekends. The family also spend extended stays in the South of France during the Summer months, whereby the Nanny is invited to join them. Great role for someone seeking competitive salary and sociable working hours and opportunity (not essential for months at a time) to spend time in the South of France. The family are seeking an individual that can offer longevity, have experience of caring for new-borns and have a pro active and enthusiastic approach to their role.

Working Days & hours: Tuesday/Wednesday and Thursday 8.00-6.00 Monday and Friday 5 hours per day. Monday and Friday hours are subject to be flexible. Should overtime incur this will be paid accordingly.

General duties:

Support the eldest son adjust to his new role of being a big brother!
Work collaboratively alongside Mum to support the care of the new-born when he/she arrives
Maintain the son’s routine and adjust accordingly when his age/development requires
Take the eldest son to activities and day trips
Provide engaging activities to encourage and support his development and wellbeing
Preparing meals and snack for son
General nursery duties
Take care of baby occasionally when Mum requires rest

Candidate requirements:

Willingness to travel with family to beautiful area of France
Have experience of working with children of similar ages
Happy to work collaboratively and independently with Mum
Driver is desirable – car provided
Family have a dog that is with them in London and a cat that stay at their Suffolk residence
