Short term Nanny in Barnes, London

A lovely family in Barnes are looking for a fun and friendly nanny for their two children. Their eldest is 20 months and their youngest is 3 months.

This role will be on a long term temp basis, from September-December 2022 (16 weeks).

The eldest girl is very energetic, active and playful. She loves to spend time outdoors and enjoys her ballet and music classes. She will be starting nursery in the mornings from September. Most of your day will be spent with the baby.

The ideal nanny will be very positive, gentle but also able to set some boundaries. Someone with a sweet and soft approach who is a good communicator. As the father works away for extended periods of time, they do need someone quite flexible who will be able to support the family while he is away.

The mother will be working from home 3 days a week and when doing so she does like to pop in at meal times and spend some time with the girls. Your main duties will include pick ups, drop off's, preparing healthy meals, child related duties, arranging activities & play dates.

The family do have a cleaner but they would like the nanny to be proactive and show initiative particularly when there is some downtime during naps etc.

The hours will be 7am-7pm Monday to Friday. Their current nanny will be leaving in September so there may be a slight overlap as a transition period.

They would like someone local as the hours are quite long.

Start date: 1st September 2022
Salary: £12-14 /h net
