Live out Nanny in Notting Hill, London

A warm and loving family in central London seek a fantastic, proactive, and educated live-out nanny for their two boys aged 2 and 3. Both boys attend nursery at least a couple of mornings per week, so the parents are flexible around hours although they would love cover on a Saturday. They would also appreciate the candidate being able to babysit a couple of times per week. The schedule could therefore be Tuesday through Saturday with an 8am - 7pm schedule but they are also open to an 11am start and a later finish (around 9 or 10pm) on babysitting days.



Responsibilities will include all care pertaining to the children including, but not limited to, nursery drop-off and pick-ups, keeping their areas clean and tidy, cooking delicious, healthy meals, prepping school lunches, and taking the children to activities and on outings. The boys are active, curious, and playful - the ideal candidate will need to have enough energy to keep up with them both but will also recognise the importance of setting aside time for reading, creative activities and 'quiet' time. Engaging with their interests, encouraging learning through play, and being developmentally focused is an important component of this position, as is being super-organised, clean and tidy.



The ideal candidate is nurturing, engaging, warm and passionate with a real love for children, strong communication skills and a smart and professional demeanour. Please be confident in taking on all aspects of the children's care and well-being - from organising playdates, excursions and meet-ups, to managing wardrobes, schedules and menu planning. There may be international and domestic travel, and expect also to take full sole charge when the parents are away, usually for 3-4 days at a time. The family are happy, welcoming and loving and are looking for someone who can slot into their dynamic, who demonstrates positivity and enthusiasm and who can be flexible, punctual and reliable. The children love their swimming lessons so please also be extremely confident in the water and a strong swimmer.
