A lovely family residing in Gloucestershire, U.K., is seeking a qualified and experienced career nanny for the care of their three children aged between 1-5 years and another baby is on the way who is due in January 2023. Their 5-year-old boy loves dinosaurs and Rugby. Their 3-year-old daughter, who loves dancing around in her tutu and another girl aged 1.
This is a live-in or live-out role (depending on your location and preference, for a kind, loving, fun and bubbly nanny who loves her job and has experience with Early Years. Who will be a pro-active, independent, and confident nanny in her approach to taking the children through their different ages and stages and supporting the family, as well as organised and creative. The family is very welcoming and would like a team member who will become like a part of their family. The family offer a private double bedroom with ensuite.
Both parents are busy working professionals and are seeking the support of a nanny who loves working in a busy and fulfilling environment. The main duties are as follows;
- School runs for the older children
- Cooking healthy and nutritious meals
- Creative play and having fun
- Arranging play dates
- Keeping track of anything needed for the children.
- Playing outdoors, exploring the surrounding countryside with the children
- Proxy parenting when we are away including overnights and travelling on holiday with the family
- Help the parents with the school/nursery runs, dropping off and collecting the children as needed, so you must be a confident driver.
- Responsible for helping the eldest child with their homework & reading, a knowledge of phonetics is a must!
- Responsible for planning and organising activities. The children love the outdoors, and enjoy activities such as rugby, tennis, swimming, ballet, and jumping in puddles!
-Happy to meal plan for the children at the beginning of the week and buy groceries, batch cook, and run errands accordingly. You should be happy for cook for the children, creating fresh and healthy child-friendly meals.
During the school holidays there may be the opportunity for you to travel with the family, the family enjoy travelling around the UK and in Europe.
Flexible and willing to lend an extra pair of hands. Confident around children, and passionate about children's development and learning and confident with both shared and sole charge. A driver is required, and a car will be provided. You will also be given a living room in the home to use as your own space should you wish.
The start date is ASAP and the salary on offer is £40,000 - £50,000 gross per annum. The working hours are Monday 9am – 6.30pm, Tuesday 7am – 7pm, Wednesday 7am – 7pm, Thursday 8am – 6.30pm and Friday 7am – 4pm. The family is ready to start interviewing immediately.
Requirements:
3+ years’ experience with children this age group and above
Fluent English speaker
Childcare qualifications
Enhanced DBS check cleared
Driving licence
First Aid
