Live in Nanny in Great Missenden, Berkshire

Lovely family is seeking a kind and engaging nanny to care for 10 month old little girl come September as Mum anticipates her return back to work.
Mum works as a hospital doctor and therefore has a rotating schedule. You will work around 55 hours per week, however, the weekly working hours may change slightly depending on Mum’s roster which is set 6 – 9 months in advance and it is very rare that she works outside of her scheduled hours.

You will never be required to work on Wednesday and will generally only work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; however, Mum’s schedule means that you will be required to do 1 or 2 overnights some weeks and occasional rare weekends, if grandparents can’t help.

The current schedule is;
Monday: 9am to 5pm – Mum works from home. Every 3rd Monday she works overnight so requires overnight care instead
Tuesday: 6.45am to 7pm
Wednesday: No work
Thursday 6.45am to 7pm, every 2nd Thursday you will work overnight too
Friday: 6.45am to 7pm

You’ll be responsible standard nursery duties, offering guidance and support on routine changes as she grows, helping her to achieve milestones a and arranging all activities and outings for the little one, Mum is happy for you to explore the local area as well as use public transport to get to activities further away.

You will be working mostly on a sole charge basis, but should be happy to have Mum pop in for lunch etc on a Monday when she works from home. Grandparents also live nearby and will act as additional support, sometimes taking little one overnight on a Thursday to enable a bit of a break.

You will have your own bedroom and bathroom with a separate entrance which is an annex to the main house. You will have tea making facilities, but will need to use the main house for cooking etc.

Driver not required.

Salary: £40,000 gross per annum
