A lovely family in Shepherds Bush are looking for a Nanny for their two beautiful children! Live in OR Live out option available!

Job Summary:

Our client, who lives in Shepherds Bush, is looking for a either a live in OR live out Nanny to join their family. They are looking for a nanny who can help them guide their children to become kind, polite, bright and fun children. They feel that a nanny has to be a good fit for the whole family, so someone who is professional with the children but also good fun for the adults to have around too would be lovely.

Their daughter is 3 (she will turn 4 in July), she is a very chatty young lady with a fun personality and a great sense of humour. She is kind and very keen to learn, but she is occasionally prone to being a little bossy (especially towards her younger brother)! Babies and dollies are the thing of the moment for her, she adores role-play and is also an avid book-worm.

Their son turned two at the end of February, he has the happiest disposition and loves being around people. Diggers, buildings and jigsaw puzzles are his current loves. He does, of course, have moments when he pushes boundaries, but no more than a normal toddler discovering what is socially acceptable. Both children adore nursery school. The eldest will be starting in Reception in September, so she may need some extra TLC as she makes the transition from nursery given that she is very young for her year

Accommodation: Own bedroom on the top floor of the home – bathroom shared with children only (no adults) but children can bath in another bathroom if required

Salary:
Live in: £500 to £600 net per week (£35,000 to £43,230 gross per annum)
Live out: £12 to £15 net per hour (£43,230 to £56,224 gross per annum)

Working Days & hours:
Monday to Friday – Live in – 7:30am to 6:30pm,
Live out – 7:30am to 5:30pm (50 hours per week)

General duties:

School drop and pick up (nursery is 7 min walk, school is 20 min walk)
Making meals for the children
Take outdoors/to activities
Laundry for the children
Keeping the childrens areas neat and tidy
Pick up groceries occasionally on the school run
Helping the children with reading
Arranging playdates
Fun and educational games/activities
Help with homework

Candidate requirements:

Experience with children of similar age
Someone flexible, pragmatic and organised
Someone who is firm but fair – can teach the children manners
Someone loving who will give the kids lots of cuddles
Open to travelling with the family – very rare
Driving licence – not essential – car provided
Spanish/French/Italian speaking would be a big bonus!
