Live in or daily Nanny in Englishcombe, Bath, Somerset

Fabulous position just outside Bath for a live in or live out Nanny, to care for two children aged 3 years and 6 months.
Mum is returning to work in September so this is a sole charge position although one or both parents will work from home on Mondays and Thursdays. They are both lawyers and work in London two days a week so you will need to be confident to work independently and there will be some overnight care on a Tuesday, whilst the parents are in London.

They are looking for someone organised, dependable and proactive, who is interested in the children’s development but who is also kind, caring and keen to be an integral part of their household. Your duties will be all nursery duties, helping with the whole family’s laundry and help with dog walking would be great! There is a car to use whilst on duty and if the Nanny would like to travel with the family on holidays this would be a bonus but not essential.

The 3 year old attends pre-school during the term time each day, 8.45am-3.15pm so you will only have the bay during this time. In the school holidays you will have care of both children. Grandma lives locally and is very involved in family life, she does help with the pre-school runs some days. The 3 year old attends rugby tots, she enjoys baking, singing, music and dance and loves imaginative play and likes nothing more than a Nanny who will interact and engage with her, putting on shows! It is necessary to have some baby experience, supporting with weaning, bottle making and a good routine.

The family lead busy lives so clear communication is key. They like routine and the children are both in good routines and are good sleepers too.

Your accommodation is a double ensuite room and use of a mezzanine area for an area to chill in the evenings.
