A wonderful live in Nanny position taking care of two children

Job Summary: A wonderful family situated in the fantastic area of Maida Vale are seeking a warm, kind, honest and responsible nanny to help taking care of the family’s two children (aged 3.5 years and 7 months). The family are looking to find someone who genuinely enjoys contributing to children’s development and well-being. The candidate must have a positive demeanour and style that makes children feel special. but balance that with teaching children about discipline/good manners.

Accommodation: The accommodation provided will be a large double bedroom ensuite (with shower) on its own floor but a shared kitchen with the family.

Duties

Washing/sterilising baby bottles
Preparing formula and feeding the baby
Support the weaning process
Changing nappies
Encouraging developmental play with both children
Maintaining a routine that works for both children
Taking to and from nursery
Cooking healthy meals
Children’s laundry
Keeping child-related areas tidy/clean
Taking children for walks/fresh air/socialising
Occasional babysitting between Monday-Thursday

Candidate requirements:

Pet friendly – Family has a dog
Willing to travel abroad with us on holiday eventually.
Warm, patient and friendly manner
Clean and tidy
5 years relevant childcare experience (MUST have infant experience)
Non-smoker
Own car – Family will cover cost of permit parking and reimburse car expenses
