Wonderful family looking for an experienced nanny in Surrey, offering competitive salary to look after their little boy!

Job Summary: A new and exciting role available for an experienced and pro-active nanny looking for their next long-term position! This is working for a wonderful family based in Surrey with a lovely little boy aged 1 years old. The family live in a fully staffed household with a housekeeper and a chef. Both parents work full-time, Dad is based in the office and Mum works from home, therefore it is important the nanny is comfortable working with Mum around. It will be a sole charge role, however Mum is keen to pop in and out and spend time with the little one, allowing the nanny to focus on child’s nursery duties.

The little boy is a happy baby who enjoys running around and lots of playing, so it’s important the family find a nanny who is fun/energetic and can keep up with the little boy.

Accommodation: If required, the family could consider live-in for the right candidate

General duties:

Creating a safe and stimulating environment
Bathing and dressing
Changing diapers
Children’s laundry
Planning meals, preparing food, and/or feeding
Arranging playdates and educational activities/outings
Indoor and outdoor play
Educational activities and crafts
Helping arrange birthday parties – sourcing events, hiring entertainers, sorting catering, sending out invites, party bags etc
Reading
Traveling with the family on trips away & researching/managing/organising activities once abroad
will be required for travel (approx. 8 weeks a year) Dubai, Bermuda, Palm Beach, Europe and Various U.K. stays
Organizing bedrooms/toys
Proxy parenting whilst the parents travel
Keeping a development planner
Maintaining logs for the parents
Ad hoc babysitting
Keeping the parents updated via Whatsapp with pictures during activities/play dates

Candidate requirements:

You should have at least 5yrs plus experience of working as a nanny
Must speak fluent English
Must be dog friendly
Ability to cook
Ability to swim
Must have full clean UK driving license
UK/European passport
Non-smoker
