Job summary: A lovely young professional family who live close to Richmond and Mortlake stations are looking to hire a nanny when mum returns to work from maternity leave. Their son will be in school, the care during the school year will be mainly for their daughter who is 8 months.

The ideal nanny will be experienced working with both ages, upbeat, reliable, and confident with the early year’s milestones. The boy is a lovely happy boy who is very loving towards his baby sister, the baby is just starting to crawl and is experimenting with solid foods- Mum is due to go back to work in September and would like to have a good handover before she starts if possible. Both parents will be working in an office and although parking is not required, they do have parking if a nanny wanted to drive to work.

General Duties:

Sole charge care
School runs- waking distance to the home
Weaning, and potty training
Planning fun educational activities for both children
Arranging play dates and classes
Help with reading and homework with the older boy

Candidate requirements:

It is essential you have experience working in a similar role
The family have a strong preference for a childcare qualification
Ideally someone locally
Good communication skills, fluent English is required to help their older son with homework, reading and writing and to aid with speech development of their youngest when the time comes
Their daughter did suffer with colic and is a little picky with some foods – the family would welcome some experience with this
