A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a nanny to join an adventurous family who spend their time between East Sussex, France, and Portugal. They also travel to various other destinations in between for holidays.

You would be caring for three boys, 10 months, 4 & 6 years old, and the family are looking for someone who is fun, playful, flexible, easy going, understanding, gentle, kind and patient. Someone who enjoys the outdoors and making things like nature crafts would be a great fit. The children are unschooled, and while the parents enjoy a lot about the Waldorf, Forest Schools and RIE approach, they are not following anything in particular.

The Family would love to find a long-term fit, someone who can help with all three boys, and who is a sensitive and/or more of an introverted person who can be very connected and in tune with the energy of the home and the children. The children love nature projects, science experiments, reading, games playing and exploring outdoors, and they really enjoy crafts, arts and felting. This really is a wonderful family to work for who will ensure you feel appreciated.

You will be required to work Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm. Flexibility will be required in regard to occasional babysitting duties should the parents have work meetings in the evenings.

It is essential that you speak fluent English. A second language of Spanish or French would be an added bonus but, is not essential.

You will be provided with accommodation, and there is also a car for you to use during your time off.

The family are happy to consider unvaccinated candidates as long as they are cautious.

Start date as soon as possible. The salary for this role is excellent and will be discussed upon application dependant on your experience.
