Exciting Temporary Nanny role available for 5 months starting in the UK and moving to Cape Town –caring for 1 little girl!

Nanny required to care for a little girl born January 2021. The role will be a mixture of sole charge and shared care and the working hours will be 24/5 to cover the nights whilst the parents are working long hours. Overnight care will be needed but generally the child is a very good sleeper. The family will also be looking for a local person in Cape Town who may be able to help support the nanny due to the long hours.

The Job will start in the UK for 2 weeks, then travel with the family to South Africa for 4 months.

The family would like an experienced nanny please to care for the little girl; who currently has a temporary Part-time Daily Norland Nanny who highly recommends the family.

The family describe themselves as a friendly, easy-going family; with the parents working in the Creative Arts. They run a relaxed household but want the little girl’s schedule to continue as normal whilst they are working. Normal nursery duties will be needed and an individual who is able to plan days independently as well as having a sense of humour would be a great fit for the family.

They would like the nanny to be imaginative with a wide variety of activities within that structure. The little girl is an absolute joy to prepare new food for and enjoys a wide variety of foods.

Accommodation: Separate bedroom and bathroom

Candidate requirements:

The family will require the nanny to be discreet and to sign an DNA
Imaginative with a creative personality
The nanny must be comfortable with both sole and shared charge
Experienced in childcare with similar aged children
Must have an up-to-date DBS, first aid certificate, and strong contactable references

DBS check required at offer stage
