About the job

Highly recommended family, both parents and children well known to the agency, are looking for an energetic, well-educated, organised, live-in P.A. / Nanny to replace their nanny of 8 years. You will be provided with your own newly renovated, separate accommodation on the property, with en-suite bathroom and kitchen, as well as a car during working hours.

The family have a busy, outdoorsy lifestyle and would like to welcome a new nanny to help them with their three children B7, G9 and G12 who attend school very close to the family home. They need someone who is highly organised to keep on top of daily school runs, after school activities, wardrobe management, children’s laundry and cooking healthy meals. There is a lovely full time housekeeper employed, who will help with laundry. You will also need to manage the children’s diary with appointments, play-dates and days out during the holidays.

Mum would like someone who can support homework and encourage learning at home in a fun, engaging way. Therefore you should have excellent literacy skills and be willing to extend your knowledge of the National Curriculum accordingly. You will need to liaise with the children’s teachers and keep parents updated on any developments at school.
Whilst the children are at school you would be expected to perform P.A. duties for mum who works from home, organise the grocery shopping and order items online for the children. You would also help to organise special events such as birthdays and Christmas, time permitting, sourcing gifts for family and friends.
There are animals on the estate, including ponies and a very friendly Labrador, so the ideal candidate would be pet friendly, happy to be outdoors and have some knowledge of horses if possible.

The family are dedicated in finding the right match for them, which is why they are taking their time and are genuinely willing to be flexible in terms of hours and conditions for the right person. The working week would be approximately 50 hours per week, with the possibility of 2 nights babysitting. The salary on offer is £500 - £600 net per week.
