Daily Nanny position in the beautiful area of Chelsea working Monday-Friday taking care of one 7 month old boy – ASAP start!

Job Summary: A family of three are seeking a delightful, energetic, and proactive daily Nanny for their 7-month-old son on a sole charge basis. Family live in a quiet street in Chelsea, with Sloane Square, Knightsbridge, and South Kensington tube stations a short walking distance. Both parents are senior professionals; one working in finance and the other is a well-connected head-hunter therefore, discretion and confidentiality is key. The family are trilingual English, German and French. The charge is on an established routine; consistent naps and weaning are in place. Son is described as

“He is now proudly established in crawling, sitting, and pulling himself up to standing. He is an adventurous, brave, and curious boy with a love of being active, discovering music, stories, and sensory play. He is full of smiles and laughter every day and is incredibly happy by nature”

The family are looking for an energetic nanny who is experienced in supporting busy working parents that place exacting standards on themselves. The nanny is to be punctual and reliable, with extremely strong communication skills, and a positive disposition. This is to be coupled with a deep ambition and belief that making a child’s early life is about varied stimulation, kindness and consistent engagement and encouragement. The family seek a nanny that will wish to liaise with the parents in sharing many ‘firsts. The family have a housekeeper who attends 3 days per week and a pet sitter who visits daily.

Duties

Son is highly engaged in a range of weekly activities within walking distance therefore, Nanny would be required to continue attendance
Providing seeking out activities that will ensure his development is expected, as is muddy play and discovering the great outdoors, cooking, painting, and crafting of all kinds.
Arranging and hosting play dates, as well as ensuring social engagements are encouraged.
Preparing meals for child – An organic, healthy, and varied diet is greatly enjoyed by the baby, both in smooth and lumpy textures.

Candidate requirements:

Early Year Degree level
Willingness to travel – international travel might be required on occasion, though this would likely not exceed two weeks at a time, circa three times a year, and would be planned with consideration and sensible notice in advance.
Family has a dog – therefore, pet friendly
The nanny is to be punctual and reliable, with extremely strong communication skills, and a positive disposition.
Career Nanny that is well travelled, experienced and demonstrates longevity within roles
