A fabulous role has become available in Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire. This professional and friendly family is looking for a nanny who can stay long term and become part of their happy family unit.

You will be looking after two happy and active children, a little girl, aged four years, who enjoys swimming, ballet and horse riding and a little boy, aged 20 months, who enjoys being outside, climbing and loves to go to Forest School. Although Mum works from home most of the time, this is a sole charge role.

The hours are 08.00 – 18.00, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

The little girl attends full time school and the little boy goes to forest school one morning a week.

The parents are keen for their children to learn and develop in a balanced way, to help them to hit their various developmental milestones – with lots of educational and stimulating indoor fun (games, reading stories, jigsaws, arts and crafts, imaginary games, etc) mixed with plenty of outside play, walks to the park, picnics, etc.

When time allows, the parents would like the children to attend play dates and groups to allow them to mix with other children, ensuring that they are happy and safe at all times.

The family live in a beautiful old house in Great Missenden, where they have plenty of space. As they employ a cleaner, this role is nursery duties only, but some help to keep the house running smoothly would be appreciated – emptying the dishwasher, putting a load of washing on, making sure all rooms are tidy at the end of the day, etc.

As well as keeping all areas the children use clean and tidy (kitchen, bedrooms, children’s bathroom, playroom etc), the nursery duties are to include keeping on top of the children’s laundry and also providing the children with three healthy and nutritious meals each day (home cooked from scratch as often as possible).

The nanny must be a careful and confident driver with a clean licence. There is a family car which the nanny is welcome to use during the day if it is free.

This is a wonderful role and would suit someone who is happy to make a long-term commitment.
