About the job

CLAPHAM/WANDSWORTH: mid-May start: P/T Daily, "Combined Entity" Nanny for G5 years

Part-time, Daily Nanny in Clapham: We are seeking a new Part-time, Daily Nanny for our clients. Both parents are busy working professionals and have one little girl who started full time school in Battersea in September. Because this is a Combined Entity, part-time role it would be ideally suited to a candidate who is studying part-time. The new nanny will be replacing the current, much-loved, NSJ nanny!

This is a "Combined Entity" role, which will average approximately 18-20 hours/week. The role will mainly be after-school care in term time and then working 4 days/week in school holidays, Mum is at home on a Friday, hence their need for 4 days only, though if there is ever a need for any extra hours they would be well remunerated.

= Term time: Monday - Thursday 15.00 - 18.00. = Holidays: Monday - Thursday 08.00-18.00.

The little girl will be 4.5 when the position starts, and will be attending primary school for the first time. So the Nanny duties will involve school pick ups, basic cooking, any after-school activities/clubs etc and reading. This role would be ideally suited to a candidate who is studying part-time. The role is to start at the end of the summer, ideally August, to allow a smooth transition with the outgoing nanny and so little one can adapt to the new changes before she starts school.

Nanny should be outgoing, proactive and be happy to get stuck in and plan and organise activities for the little girl, coordinating with her parents regarding play dates as well. A Nanny who is open, very grounded would be best suited for this lovely family. Little one is in a great routine and has only had 2 nannies in her lifetime (both very well known to us!) and she is well-socialised, a good eater and has a regular evening routine.

Driver would be super-helpful, and is preferred, but is not essential. The nearest tube to the family home is Clapham Junction, with the role encompassing after-school picks up in Battersea.

To start mid-May, the family are already interviewing but the job won't start until the end of the summer.
