Fantastic Live-In role in South West London, caring for 3 girls, G12, G10 and G5. Start date mid-April, after Easter holidays.

This family are looking for a loving and fun nanny to join their family. G12 is really switched on and largely independent girl who is sporty and into dance and gymnastics. She is a brilliant big sister and would be 'light touch' as she's very helpful around the house and with her sisters -she largely sorts herself out. G10 has special needs (a chromosome disorder which presents a bit like Downs Syndrome), but no experience needed, just a little extra patience. She is really sociable, chatty and affectionate and loves interactive playing. She has a great sense of humour, an infectious laugh and generally charms everyone she meets! G5 is a total tomboy and a real character. She is also good fun and is really into superheroes and paw patrol. She also loves being outside and the playground and is just starting to get into kickboxing and football. The family also have a very cute cockapoo called Maggie who will need to be walked each day.

The right nanny for this family is someone that is upbeat and energetic but also that is organised and able to help support the family to keep on top of running the household. They need to be able to ensure that they can meet the needs of all the children and that they are able to balance being fun-loving with having firm boundaries in place. The family are easy going and like to have an open communicative relationship with the nanny to ensure that both parties are happy.

The nanny will be working Monday-Thursday.

During the term the nanny will be starting at 7am and getting the children ready for school, doing breakfast and the school run before returning home to walk the dog and complete any nanny duties like the children's laundry. There will also be errands to run such as popping to the shops to get provisions, taking items to the post office as well as other general help in the house such as cooking a meal for the evening, sorting/tidying the playroom and the children's bedrooms etc. It would be great to have a nanny with a can-do attitude that is happy to muck in and help to organise the house. The family have a cleaner. There is then the school pick up at 3pm, taking the girls to activities, supervising homework, dinner-time followed by bath and getting the youngest children ready for bed.

In the school holidays the hours are more full time, around the children's clubs and camps.

There are two nights of babysitting built into the contract each week, flexible and mutually agreed in advance and two weekend nights a month. There may also be the odd bit of proxy-parenting to enable the parents to go away for weekend together but no more than once or twice a year.
