English speaking Live in Nanny in Frankfurt, Germany

Dear Nannies,

We are looking for an english native nanny. Ideally you are a well organized person with an upbeat personality who enjoys the fullness of live in a big family. If you heard of the terms attachment parenting and relationship-oriented parenting and can identify with this, even better.

Who we are
We are a german/english family living in Frankfurt, Germany. We have four lovely children. Our oldest is a girl, ten years old and we have two boys age eight and six and a baby girl of 21 months. Two cuddly pet bunnies complete our family. Our house lies next to the woods in a popular area of Frankfurt City and we enjoy being outdoors. We speak German, English and Spanish at home and would like to continue with the trilinguality. This is why we want to continue having an english native nanny. Native english is a must.

What's the job like?
You would be the nanny and helping me out with the daily tasks of a live with four active children. I am working part-time, my husband more than full time. This is what a typical day looks like: You would start at 7am and help me to get the kids ready in the morning for school, prepare their breakfast and take one or two of them to school. After that, you would do the grocery shopping and prepare the kids lunch, while I take care of the baby, or vice versa. We have a housekeeper, so only light housework like loading the dish washer or tidying kids toys is required. The older kids are usually coming home at midday and we have lunch together at home. In the afternoons you drive one of the kids to their afternoon activities (Karate, Tennis, skate park, music lessons, playgroups and so on), being a confident driver is a must. Or you stay home and play with the other kids while I take one of them to the activities. All the kids are sporty and energetic and have a swim daily in our indoor pool at home. We also take advantage of the woods, riding bikes, building forts and enjoy playing in our large garden. Around 5pm, the nanny is free to go and the evening routine starts. Only sometimes we need babysitting in the evenings.

You would also accompany us while traveling, we go to our second home in Mallorca a lot, also over the weekends, and we like to travel in general.

We work with a nanny team, one english speaking nanny and one Spanish speaking nanny. Both work alternately. At the moment, they work on a four days on and four days off.

What do we offer?
We offer a well-paid job with health insurance and pension in a very warm and family-oriented atmosphere and a long term perspective. You would have a car for private use and one for driving the kids. We offer a separate apartment (shared with the other nanny) nearby our house in a popular area of Frankfurt next to the city center. You have free internet and you eat with us on your working days. We are very flexible, so the schedule is always negotiable since we always have the other nanny on the team as back up. Both our nannies have plenty of time for traveling and private interests.
