Live out Nanny in Dublin, Ireland

Job summary: A two year old is looking for a full time live out nanny.

Ideal candidates are proactive, team players who use their initiative. A nanny who is calm, friendly and has a warm presence. In general you will be working Monday - Friday 8 - 6pm plus babysitting. Flexibility, being happy to help out where needed, work weekends, evenings and proxy parenting is important. They would like the nanny to start ideally ASAP.

This is a sole charge role, it will suit someone who enjoys being busy and used to working for parents with busy schedules.

You must be happy to commit for at least two years ideally longer.

Someone with an educational and development focused approach will suit this role. Happy to organise a variety of activities, adventures out and about and local classes.

There is the opportunity for traveling with the family.

Being hygiene and safety conscious and very organised are vital requirements.

The family would like a nanny who wants to implement boundaries and encourage manners.

Duties: Doing nursery duties, running errands, unloading the dishwasher and general tidiying are part of the nanny’s responsibilities. Preparing all meals for the toddler and being happy to cook for the parents is important.

Currently they don’t have any pets but they may purchase a puppy in the future.

Experience and qualifications required: Ideally candidates will have childcare qualifications and extensive experience working as a professional career nanny.

Skills required: It’s vital you are an experienced driver. They can provide access to a car.

Agency requirements: Applicants must have an Irish passport or already have a permit or visa for Ireland. Applicants need a minimum of three years of full-time professional childcare experience, valid pediatric first aid, and a recent police check to register.
