English speaking Nanny in Seltjarnarnes, Iceland

Our client, a professional couple residing in Iceland close to Reykjavik, have just welcomed a new-born baby. They are ideally seeking a Live-out Nanny, but would consider a Live-in Nanny too.

The couple are looking for someone to provide daily care, five days per week, 3 to 8 hours per day (flexible working hours, meaning sometimes the Nanny will take care of baby for a few hours during day, whilst sometimes during evenings). This position will be on a temporary to permanent basis with a minimum contract of 6 months up to 2 years.

You should be caring and compassionate, hardworking and have the ability to work to high standards. Being independent and easily able to adapt is also desired.

All nursery duties are expected along with some of the following;

Taking care of the new-born when needed during the day and/or evenings
Occasionally running errands
Accompanying the family when travelling
Please note that the family do employ a cleaner so housekeeping and laundry duties will be solely for the child.
The family are looking to establish a potential long-term bond with the Nanny, so it is key that you are willing to offer the family loyalty and simply open-mindedness.

It is preferred that you possess the following:

Prior new-born and toddler experience
Fluent English speaker
Full clean driving licence
Location: Seltjarnarnes, Iceland
Contract Length: 6 month temporary contract with prospects to go permanent
Start Date: ASAP

Children: 1 Child – New-born
Working Days: 5 days per week
Working Hours: 3 - 8 hours per day

Salary: circa $75,000 USD (£55,573) per annum
