English speaking Nanny / Personal Assistant in Amsterdam

Nanny/ family assistant for three fun sisters

A very sole charge role for a dynamic, hard-working nanny. Someone capable of providing support to a busy professional family. You will be responsible for nannying and assisting a family of five. The three girls will be eight, nearly seven, and nearly five when the nanny starts.

The sisters get on well, their hobbies include reading, football, swimming, and love coloring. They will be attending an international school in Amsterdam. Picking them up from school is part of your responsibilities.

Ideal candidates are highly reliable, time conscious, empathetic, kind, and patient. Someone with a calm approach who is very organized. Being transparent, honest, and confident are vital. You need to be confident giving and receiving feedback.

The Mum will be working from home full time and the Dad a few days per week. Dad will travel a few times a month. The Mum may also potentially travel for work. Proxy parenting is required in this role.

The nanny needs to be happy to help out where needed. Someone confident assisting in running the household. The Mum helps prepare menus and weekly duties, she has a clear, positive, and supportive approach to communication. The family is relocating to Amsterdam from France. You will need to support their transition to Amsterdam. You will be responsible for all nanny duties and a variety of family assistant duties including shopping, taking and collecting dry cleaning, unloading the dishwasher, cooking for the whole family, dealing with electricians, etc, general household management tasks, and organizing medical appointments for the children. The parents put the laundry on and the nanny folds the whole family's laundry.

Healthy eating is important, the girls love raw vegetables. The family is trying to eat more vegetarian meals. They avoid giving the children sweets.

This is a screen-free household.

Travel is not required.

This is a French and English-speaking household.

The previous nanny stayed with the family for eight years.

The family is eager to begin the search so video interviews are happening ASAP. For the right candidate, the family is happy to pay a retainer.
