English speaking Governess in St.Petersburg, Russia

Full-time English speaking Governess required for G6 & G8 located in St Peterburg, £1000 – £1300 per week, Start ASAP

A family residing in St Peterburg is seeking an experienced, energetic and enthusiastic Governess to promote the language development of their 2 children.

The girls have a beginner level of English and attend a Russian-speaking school/kindergarten. The Governess will be required to assist in their development by providing educational games, play, activities, classes as well as meeting their daily needs during the working day.

As a Governess, you will provide an array of engaging activities for the girls, plan classes, escort the girl to and from school and extra curriculum activities and interact during the day whilst the girl is undertaking daily routines. You will encourage development, share mealtimes, promote good behaviour, teach etiquette, assist with daily care and be a positive role model.

During the day when the children are at kindergarten and school, you will maintain the order of the girls’ rooms/belongings. Light cooking may be required occasionally.

Both children attend after-school clubs, during their attendance you may have some free time.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Governess with childcare/education qualifications with an outgoing personality. The family is sporty and athletic and seeks a candidate with shared values.

The working schedule will be 5 days on/2 days off, working from 8 am – 8 pm.
This is a live-out position with an apartment provided.

International travel is involved and summer will be spent in Europe.

The salary on offer is from £1000 – £1300 per week and will reflect the skills, experience and qualifications of the candidate.
