Live in Nanny in England, Portugal & France

Looking for a fun, gentle, playful, engaging nanny who is open minded, enthusiastic, creative and resourceful. Someone who is well grounded, respectful and able to read the children’s cues. The family uses a hybrid approach which includes an unschooling/world schooling approach to education. The position would suit an adventurous nature lover. Lots of travel involved!

Duties:
All nursery duties,
Creating engaging child-centred activities,
Supporting the children with their interests, educational desires and curiosity about the world around them,
Lots of outdoor activities and connecting with nature,
Supporting both the mother and father with the children,
Preparing snacks for the children, (Grain and sugar free diet)
Lots of travel.

The family are health conscious and alternative-minded, they have a gentle and playful approach to parenting, and are very involved in their children’s daily lives. Both parents work from home and are ideally looking for a long-term nanny who can embark on this journey in life with them, making strong connections along the way. The family has a nanny who also helps the family to manage the house so will work out a schedule between them all. There is also a cook.

The family are currently in Portugal and will be spending 5 months on their farm in France. They are also planning 4-5 months in the UK.

English speakers are essential for the role, for the children’s language and dialects. A Portuguese, French or Spanish speaker would be a bonus!

The family are very Covid cautious, ideally the nanny would have her vaccinations, if not the nanny would need to be tested and quarantined after time off.

Driver not needed, there is a car for the nanny to use which is shared with the cook. Parking available.
