English speaking Rota Nanny in Oslo, Norway

A relaxed, informal family is searching for a rota nanny to assist with the care of two children aged 2 and 1 years old.

The position is based in Oslo, Norway.

The nanny will be working alongside another nanny and opposite a team of two other nannies in the rota arrangement.

Rota arrangement: 14 days on, 14 days off. Flexible working hours whilst on rota overnight arranged with the other nannies.

Ideally, the nanny will be an English native speaker or a Turkish speaker would be a +.

Duties: Working alongside another nanny to care for the two children and follow a daily schedule already put in place. Cooking for the children, other nannies and other household members is a requirement, nothing fancy just normal, kid friendly meals. Be willing to work as a team to care for and educate the two toddlers. Comfortable engaging them in age-appropriate educational activities to further their development.

The eldest attends nursery during the week and the youngest will also attend from September onwards. Daily care of the toddlers. Usually 50/50 shared care with mum and other nannies. The toddlers are not the best sleepers so sometimes on call help overnights is required whilst on rota.

A knowledge of sleep training techniques may be beneficial.

Travel: Occasional travel is included.

Accommodation: A separate bedroom in the family home is provided whilst on rota, flights home are provided when off rota.

The family can assist with visa process. EU citizens should have no problems but nannies of other nationalities may need a degree to obtain a visa.

Start Date: Ideally February 2022. This position would suit an energetic, fun nanny with 3 years’ experience +, looking to join a young team of nannies.

Salary: €4,120 net per month.
