Job Summary: A lovely family are Ireland are looking for an experienced and friendly nanny to join their family and look after their children on a sole charge basis. The family are ideally looking for a live-in candidate, however, would also consider daily candidates if local. It’s a really lovely household to work for and they are excited to welcome their new nanny to the family. Both Mum and Dad work full-time in office, Dad is Portuguese so a Portuguese speaker would be a nice bonus, however not essential!

The eldest is in full-time school, the 2nd eldest is in Montessori nursery, and the 1 year old is home during the days, therefore a large portion of the role will focus on the younger children.

The family are in the middle of an exciting house build are currently living in a 2-bedroom apartment next to the build, along with the grandparents who also live in a separate house next to the build. The candidate will initially live in the grandparents’ house with a large separate bedroom & EnSuite along with a tv, fridge, microwave, kettle, & toaster.



General duties:

Sole charge childcare duties
Cooking healthy and nutritious meals for the children
Arranging age-appropriate activities to keep them entertained
Helping children reach all developmental milestones
Providing a loving a caring environment for the children
Keeping on top of children’s admin and running small child related errands


Candidate requirements:

The candidate must be able to drive (a car can be provided)
The family are looking for a candidate who is looking for a long-term role
Experince looking after similar age children, along with good references from previous employers
European Portuguese speaker would be a nice bonus
New-born experience
