Right to work in Italy essential
Work hours: 5 1/2 days per week, Core hours (approx 40-45 per week) : Monday - Friday 2.30pm - 7.30pm + 2x per week babysitting, plus half day on a weekend (exact days/times depending on the family's requirements); + flexibility to work additional hours when required (ie. when travelling with the family/sometimes 3-4x babysitting in the week etc.)
Start date: ASAP (Happy to wait for the right person)
Salary: negotiable depending on experience & qualifications (approx 650-900 EURO per week net)
Children ages: 1 1/2 year old & 3 1/2 year old girls
Driver: Yes essential for school runs - Automatic car provided on & off duty
Travel: Yes, approx 12 weeks per year (Summer in Cannes, Winter holidays in Courchevel, shorter trips to the UK + 1 international trip per year)
Accommodation: self contained flat within the main property
Description:
Full time permanent live in Nanny is required to join a British family based in Florence (city centre). You will look after their two little girls on sole charge basis (parents work from home), focusing on childcare duties (housekeeper is employed) but will be expected to cook meals and muck in with light housework/errands as well. You must be a confident driver (automatic) to take the eldest to school every day. You will have use of the car off duty as well.
The family are keen to find really warm, easy going, energetic and outgoing Nanny who will offer a lot of flexibility and genuinely enjoys working with children. You would be developmentally focused in your approach and consider childcare your career, not just a stop gap.
