English speaking Head Nanny in Kuwait, Middle East

Role: Head Nanny
Care for: Children aged 1, 3 4 & 5 Days: Monday-Friday
Hours: 8 hours per day
Salary: £70,000 gross per annum Location: Private residence, Kuwait
Start: ASAP

We are seeking a Head Nanny for a full-time permanent role working in Kuwait, Middle East.

The contracted hours of work are 8 hours per day 5 days per week. You will work within a team of Nannies to care for the children who are aged between 1 and 5 years old. The family are looking for a qualified candidate who is able to manage the team and create a healthy and varied schedule for the children.

Separate accommodation is provided within the staff grounds, consisting of your own spacious double bedroom and en-suite bathroom.
You will be a hands-on Nanny who is educationally focused but also happy to play with the children and participate with them in games and outdoor pursuits such as horse riding and water sports.

You must have 5+ years working with similar aged children, and have previously worked within UHNW households.

Duties and responsibilities;

• Responsible for the care, wellbeing and development of the children
• Playing with the children
• Maintaining the children’s routine
• Escorting the children on trips and outings
• Planning and leading educational activities and assisting with homework as necessary
• Keeping track of all school related matters – parents evenings, trips, activities and so on
• Maintaining the children’s timetables (following routines, planning activities, etc)
• Packing/unpacking the children’s bags for school, extracurricular activities, and organised
trips
• Packing/unpacking for travel overseas
• Arranging appointments and keeping up to date records at all times (e.g.. Medical
appointments and vaccinations, haircuts, extracurricular activities)
• Ad hoc errands and admin
• International travel with the family
• Participating with the children in games and sports

To be considered for this role you must;

• Be eligible to work in the Middle East
• Have a minimum of 5+ years’ experience as a Nanny/Governess caring for similar aged
children
• Have excellent contactable references
• Possess (or be willing to get) an up to date DBS check
• Be fluent in English Language
