English speaking Governor in Florence & Forte dei Marmi, Italy

Our returning client is looking for a native English speaking male governor to work with Boy 5 in Italy, Florence. The boy is a beginner in English and French. There is a Russian nanny so no caring duties needed. As a Governor you will teach the boy English in an interactive manner through fun activities and games, do sports together (football, swimming, cycling etc), arrange play dates, and start teaching him reading and writing in English. The ideal candidate is a native English speaking male with teaching qualifications (TEFL, CELTA, BA/MA Edu, PGCE) and experience in high profile families with checkable references. You should be sporty, active, communicative and flexible as sometimes the working days might change. Schedule is 5 days a week Mon-Fri: 9.00-13.00, then the boy usually has a nap, then 17.00-20.00. Occasionally you will be required to work on weekends with two days off during the week. A separate apartment is provided for the governor. This is an ongoing long-term position for one year and ideally longer. Summer will be spent in Forte-dei-Marmi (live-out). 4 weeks paid holiday per year. Salary is high and negotiable from 1200 GBP per week based on your qualifications and experience. Interviews and start ASAP!

• Live-Out: a separate apartment is provided for the governor

• Summer will be spent in Forte-dei-Marmi (live-out)
