Temporary English-speaking Governess required for G7 in Turkey, salary £1200 per week, start ASAP (2-month contract).

A Governess is required to join a family currently located in Turkey, the family will be travelling to Azerbaijan and Dubai as part of their summer vacations and are keen to find an educated Governess to mentor their 7-year-old daughter while travelling.

The young girl has a good level of English but does require support with her writing, reading and maths. The parents are keen to find a fun governess who is able to assist her daily in a fun interactive way.

She has a keen interest in arts and crafts and is always looking for something new to make.

Your main focus during the summer months will be on the girls’ reading, writing, and mathematics, and to introduce her to as much new vocabulary as possible in an interactive way, using songs, crafts, games and dance. You will be required to provide sit-down classes every day to enhance her understanding. In addition to this, you will be required to plan fun activities and show her the tourist attractions in each location you visit.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher who has experience tutoring children of this age, with a fun, positive approach to life and engaging attitude.

The working schedule is 6 days on 1 day off (day off to be negotiated), working 8-10 hours a day.

This is a live-in position with a separate room provided within the family home.

Travel-related expenses will be covered by the family.

This position is to start immediately and will finish on August 20th.
