Role: Part Time French Speaking Nanny
Days/Hours: Mondays and Fridays, 4-9pm
Location: Fulham, SW6
Salary: £20 net per hour
A fun and busy family are seeking an energetic and friendly nanny to provide care to their children during the week. You will care for two children (age 9 and 13) and two older children (in early 20's) who do not live at home, but come back to visit occasionally and may be around when travelling.
The ideal Nanny will be a fun, upbeat individual who takes initiative and is a real team player with longstanding experience in previous nanny roles. You’ll be hardworking and organised, and will possess a flexible and energetic attitude. You will be an excellent pair of helping hands, proactive and excellent at using your own discretion with general errands and duties.
The family is looking for someone who can create a fun and loving atmosphere and enjoys taking the children to their extracurricular activities and back home to assist with homework. You will be required to cook and prepare healthy and nutritious meals for the family
You will be required to work Monday – Friday, and every other weekend - Saturday and Sunday 8am-6pm. Saturday’s you will be required to stay overnight . The nanny must be happy to be flexible to stay later if required, do overnight coverage and travel abroad when needed. A taxi home is always provided after 9pm.The family spends one Month in Nantucket in the summer (either July or August).
The ideal Nanny will have 5+ years of experience and will be fluent in French. We are seeking a nanny who is fun but genuinely passionate about caring for children. This an exciting role for a Nanny looking to join a fun, busy family on a regular basis.
Salary is flexible, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will need to have good flexibility and will then become a core part of the family/team
Duties:
• Cooking and preparing healthy and nutritious meals
• Organizing and accompanying children to playdates and extracurricular activities
• Collecting and dropping off children from nursery
• Maintaining the children’s timetables (school and extracurricular activities)
• Assisting with homework
• School drop offs/collections
• Running general home errands ie; grocery shopping, uniforms, shopping, appointments, travel packing
• Creating a warm & stimulating environment for the children
• Organising and accompanying the children to activities and extra-curricular activities
To be considered for this role you must:
• Have 5+ years’ experience as a Nanny
• Have excellent contactable references
• Be fluent in French
• Possess (or be willing to get) an up to date DBS check
