Job Summary:

Our client is seeking two Rota Nannies to join their family in December after their newborn arrives in October. The family would like a French speaking Rota Nanny (who can also speak English) and an English speaking nanny. The nanny will have her own bedroom with a shower room and personal kitchen on the same floor as the baby. The rota nannies will be responsible for the general well being of the baby. The Nanny would also travel with the family on holidays and a car will be provided for nursery duties. The family has a Great Dane who is well trained and limited to certain floors/rooms in the house.

General duties:

Bathing and dressing
Settling
Changing nappies
Taking care of the baby’s laundry, nursery and equipment
Preparing food and or feeding the child when needed
Stimulating play & learning for the child
Organise baby bedroom and baby toys/items
Help & assist the parents to implement a routine (feeding, sleeping)
Make regular checks and stock of baby items needed (milk, nappies, etc.…)
Create a safe and stimulating environment for the baby
Administer medicine with parents’ consent if necessary
Maintain logs for the parents
Perform light housekeeping / cleaning up after themselves & baby
Liaise with other staff members e.g. PAs, Housekeepers, drivers as appropriate to ensure smooth running of the house/logistics
Accompany the parents when on holiday
May be under supervision of grandparents or friends if parents are away etc.

Candidate requirements:

Experience within a similar role with a similar aged child – 3 to 4 years experience would be ok
Happy to travel with the family
Pet friendly
French speaking is essential for one of the nannies
