Temporary French-speaking summer Governess required for G8 & G4 located in Cap d'Ail, France, €1200 per week. Live In, 6 weeks contract, start 22nd July 2021.

A French-speaking Governess is required to join two young girls aged 8 & 4 for the summer holidays to develop their language skills and education.

The Governess will be responsible for providing fun and educational activities and as well as classes to meet the children's academic needs.

The girls are currently studying French at school in Russia and need to improve their current level alongside English. They will be on holiday with their grandparents and require fun interactive and engaging play and activities to help them improve and give them a summer of fun.

Individual classes will need to be planned and delivered for each child and fun activities throughout the day. In addition, you will arrange excursions, teach social skills, etiquette and encourage good manners. You will assist with daily routines and provide lots of opportunities for the children to learn. The focus will be on conversational skills and extending vocabulary.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified French teacher/Governess who has previous experience of working in private households with this age range, is fun, energetic, caring and enthusiastic.
Speaking English will also be beneficial and able to support the girls learning in this language.

This is a live in position, ideally suitable for a candidate who is already based in Cap d'Ail or nearby.

The working schedule will be 6 days per week with 1 day off, working up to 12 hours per day from about 8:30 am.
The client will consider a different working schedule for those candidates who live nearby, offering up to 6 hours per day on live out basis.

The salary is €1200 per week.

The position to commence on 22nd July and will finish on 30th August.
