Rota French speaking Nanny on the Upper East Side, New York City

A sweet, warm, and loving family on the Upper East Side are seeking a full-time live-in French speaking career nanny to care for their 5-year-old boy. This is a rotational role where you will be splitting care with another full-time nanny, each working 4-weeks-on and 4-weeks-off. While you are 'on' for 4 weeks, the family provides accommodations at a nearby apartment for you. During your 4 weeks off you are able to go to your own home. During the remainder of COVID there will be a three-day overlap where you will stay at the apartment to quarantine and take a COVID test prior to starting your 4 weeks. While you are 'on' with the family you should be relatively flexible with your schedule but there will be set hours in place, generally something like 8:30am-6pm Monday through Friday and later in the day until 6pm on Saturday and Sunday. The child attends school from 8am-2:30pm daily.

You must be able to speak French as the child is fluent and goes to a French immersion school. You will have full charge care of the child but should be comfortable with Mom jumping in and out to help too. In the future they will need this nanny to be able to travel both domestically and internationally with them during their 'on' weeks. A background in early childhood education or something similar would be most ideal. You must be COVID vaccinated to be considered.
