An international family who are English 1st language and who are based in marvellous Monaco are keen to recruit a well-educated, neatly presented, articulate, sporty & discreet nanny to join their fully staffed household. You shall care for their 3 girl’s aged 2 years, 8 years and 10 years. The family will at their expense provide you with a furnished apartment about a 10 minute walk from the family home. In general, you will be on duty 5 days a week with your days off normally falling on a Saturday & 1 other day during the week. The 8 year old & 10 year old are at full time school, however on a Wednesday they only attend in the mornings, the girls are happy and confident well-rounded children, the 8 year old loves horses and partakes in competitive show jumping and the 10 year old is a keen gymnast, their little sister age 2 is fully potty trained and a bright inquisitive little girl. The Parents both have business interests outside of Monaco and may require you to proxy parent should they need to travel abroad internationally for work or pleasure. In the children’s school holidays, you will also accompany the family on any international holidays they may do. There are various tutors employed however if you do speak French it would be very helpful in order to assist with the older girls with their French homework. Ideally you should have previous experience working in formal fully staffed households and therefore have a good understanding of the dynamics required of an individual who is engaged to provide professional childcare of a high standard in a formal home. The ability to work well with other staff members and as part of a team is important. A candidate who is organised yet adaptable, and able to accommodate the family’s flexible & spontaneous lifestyle is essential. In general on weekdays your duties shall commence at 9H30 and your day shall end at 20H00 when the girls go to bed, however such is family life that flexibility to the timings is to be expected and there will also be times when you are required to babysit or sleep over at the families residence if the parents are out or travelling. A refined individual who presents as a good role model for these well-adjusted young girls, with a can do attitude and a happy disposition would suit this family beautifully. In exchange for your skills that qualify you to support the children academically, emotionally and physically you will be compensated with a generous salary that reflects not only your childcare skill set but also your commitment to accommodating the family’s schedule & needs. You do not need to drive, you must like animals as in addition to spending time with the 8 year old and her horse they also have 2 pet dogs. A candidate who can swim is essential.
