French speaking Rota Governess in Switzerland

French governess is needed for a boy aged 7. The family lives in Geneva. You will teach the boy French in an interactive manner, through games, songs and other activities. You will also need to assist with his school homework. There are nannies but caring duties will be required from the governess as well. Rota schedule: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off, on working shifts coverage 24/7. We are searching for a French governess, an active and responsible person with good manners, with teaching qualifications and experience of working with children of similar ages, able to develop a systematic approach to teaching and provide regular progress reports to the parents. Knowledge of English is essential for this role. Accommodation is provided (live-in). All job-related expenses are covered by the family. The salary is 300 euro per working day. Start in September, interviews next week.

Responsibilities

• Develop the boy's French and English skills (speaking, comprehension, reading and writing)
• Assist with school homework
• Produce indoor and outdoor language oriented and general developing activities
• Caring duties
• Involve the boy in creative games and activities, arts and crafts, etc.


Conditions

• Rota schedule 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
• Salary is 300 euros per working day
• Live-In, separate room is provided in the family’s house

Requirements

• French governess fluent in English
• Female
• Active, creative, flexible, punctual personality
• Lesson plans, clear system of studies
• Teaching or childcare qualifications will be a plus
• Experience in the similar role
