Our clients, a family of 5 residing in Switzerland, are seeking a Bilingual Nanny for their 3 young children; 2, 4 & 7 years old.
The couple are curious to find a Nanny who is willing to speak both French and preferably English to the children and fully immerse them in both languages, as well as supporting their general development.
A typical working day will start around 7.00am and finish at 7.00/7.30pm. The 2 elder children attend local international schools, so there will be moments within the day where you will have your own free time.
The role will include all the general Nanny duties along with the following:
Morning & Afternoon routine
Creating a fun environment
Playing stimulating games - encouraging active play, steering away from screen time
Reading with the children
Planning age-appropriate activities and outings
Encouraging the children to keep their bedrooms and play areas organised, clean & tidy
Please note that the family does employ a Housekeeper and a Chef – so no housekeeping or cooking duties are required.
The family are looking for a loving, warm character who will be willing to take sole/shared charge of their children and know when to step back and allow them to have family time.
They are ideally looking for someone to start ASAP. You will be required to attend a week’s trial - allowing the right Nanny to build a rapport with both the children and parents.
It is a MUST that you possess the following:
Bilingual in French and preferably English
Proven experience
DBS/Police Check
Full UK Drivers Licence preferred
Glowing references
Location: Crans-Montana, Switzerland
Contract Length: Permanent
Start Date: ASAP - TBC
Children: 3 Children – 7, 4 & 2
Working Days: 5/6 days per week. Working a Saturday/Sunday and having an additional day off in the week.
Working Hours:
AM: 7.00/7.30am-12.00pm
PM: 3.00/3.30pm - 7.00/7.30pm
Accommodation: Separate flat close to the family residence will be provided
Salary: 4,500-5,000chf gross per month
