Private Manhattan family is looking to hire a Full-time French speaking Nanny to work Monday – Thursday from 7am – 7pm with some flexibility.
Job Requirements:
NYC-based position with the flexibility to travel statewide and internationally.
They will care for a 3-year-old (full time) and a 5-year-old (on a part-time basis)
Fluent French speaker
Schedule: 4 days a week, M-TH. A workday is 12 hours, 48 hours/week generally 7am – 7pm with some flexibility
This is a live-out position but the candidate must be flexible to be live-in when needed (on travel and in upstate home. Very little when family is in the city – but they do have a nanny room should they need her to stay)
Health insurance is provided and paid time off is provided
Family has 2 dogs upstate – none in their city home
Nanny should be collaborative, a team-player, and flexible with last minute changes. They must show initiative by thinking ahead of the kids schedule and plan fun activities in the city but also while traveling.
Must be professionally communicative. Parents are very much hands on and their relationship will be a partnership in that sense
Valid passport a must as well as the ability to travel domestically and abroad
Knowing how to swim is a plus. If not a swimmer, you must be willing to learn
Position Responsibilities
