Job Summary: This lovely family based in Earls court are looking for an experienced nanny candidate who is either native French or Italian speaking and can support their little girl’s language development. Both parents work full time however are working from home until Covid restrictions allow otherwise – although the role will be a sole charge position.
General duties:
All nursery duties
Organizing/preparing age-appropriate activities inspired by the Montessori educational philosophy
Role modeling and providing a developmentally appropriate environment
Observing the child’s centre of interests and researching/planning new activities accordingly
Engaging with the child including during meal preparation
Preparing meals from scratch every day for the child (no ready- made meals)
Respecting the child’s routine and contributing to improve it by making suggestions to parents as the child evolves
Supporting the girl’s afternoon nap without using CIO (Cry It out),
Supporting toilet training
Tidying play area and rotating activities/books at the end of each day
Ensuring safety of the child’s environment at all time
Helping parents to identify necessary purchases (clothing, activities…)
Candidate requirements:
The family are looking for a native Italian or French speaker to support the girl’s language development
Experienced nanny working with similar age children
Non-smoker
Must have good references
Must live within 30-40 minutes of Earls Court
