Description:
Permanent live in Nanny required to join a single parent household, providing assistance with three children and some light housework. Must be a dog lover (there are two small dogs). The children attend nursery & school daily between 7.3am - 3.30pm, the mum usually does the school runs (occasionally the nanny will need to help). Between 6.30am - 7.30am the Nanny is to assist with getting the children ready for school and prepare their breakfast. Once the children leave for school, the nanny will be responsible for light housework chores which include the laundry & ironing (children & mums), grocery shopping 2x per week, preparing meal for dinner (children & mum - they eat the same meal), keeping the kitchen clean and tidy after cooking and meals, and making sure the children's rooms and playroom are clean and tidy. As long as these chores are taken care of, the nanny can have time off (approx 3-4 hours per day off duty at least); The children return back home between 3.30-4pm (mum usually picks them up and brings home), and the nanny will assist with looking after them on team work basis (they attend various activities) until bedtime (7/7.30pm).
This role would suit a warm, kind, gentle nanny who genuinely loves children, has a fun, playful approach and will work well in a team with the mother. French or Italian speaker would be ideal (French & English are spoken at home and the children are learning Italian at school). The nanny must be a confident driver, dog lover, great cook (healthy Mediterranean cooking) and happy to adjust to changing needs of a single working parent household.
