SAINT MARTIN, FRENCH WEST INDIES-Fabulous international family who has made their home in the Caribbean seeks a FULL-TIME LIVE IN NANNY for their two boys, ages 2.5 years and 6 months. Hours are from 9am-5pm 5 day per week. There will be two days off per week, but they won’t always be over the weekends/consecutive days. Sundays are always off along with a weekday. Live in accommodations include a furnished private bedroom and bathroom with en suite balcony (amazing views!) in the family’s home, which used to be a boutique hotel. They will help their caregiver obtain a Visa. A PLUS if you have French citizenship or are French speaking, as the boys speak English and French and anyone with a European passport (aside from the UK) is allowed to legally work in the West Indies. Duties are complete childcare including, but not limited to, planning activities, helping mom meal prep, keeping the nursery and play areas neat and tidy (they have a housekeeper, so no heavy cleaning), and most importantly, keeping the children happy, loved and well cared for. They typically travel to NYC, Paris and Australia (once the pandemic lifts). Must have a valid passport and know how to navigate an airport with two little ones in tow! Nanny will be provided a car for both while on and off the clock. Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Both parents work from home much of the time. They have three dogs and three cats. The dogs are primarily kept outside, and the cats have plenty of room to roam in the house and often keep to themselves. They seek a career nanny. A true professional who is invested in the children. A huge plus if you have experience caring for infants and toddlers simultaneously, as it can be a juggling act at times! The infant is currently breastfed and nurses every 2 hours. They will likely be doing homeschool and thus seek a nanny who can help incorporate learning while playing. Most importantly, they seek a warm, loving and caring nanny for their children. Pay is commensurate with experience. Benefits include 4 weeks of paid time off per year, as well as access to healthcare in France. Start date is ASAP but somewhat flexible for the right candidate!
