French speaking Summer Nanny in Bordeaux, France

A confident driver (manual licence) is imperative as the nanny will drive the children every day in one of the Principal’s manual vehicles. Must be covid vaccinated plus booster. The selected applicant will be a strong swimmer (the property has a large pool), fun, organised and able to provide healthy meals and snacks for the children.

We are not looking for a formal nanny or governess for this role. The emphasis is on having fun and keeping the children busy and active, with both sole charge and shared care childcare duties expected.

Essentials – To apply for this booking, candidates must speak fluent English and be confident drivers (manual driving licence). Native or fluent French speaker preferred.

Accommodation – Accommodation on the estate is provided.

Booking dates – 18th June – 10th September 2022

Salary – £850.00+ net per week

Responsibilities
Full childcare duties of G4, B9
Preparing meals and snacks for the children when required
Taking the children for days out and arranging activities
Swimming in the pool/pool games
Babysitting (with prior arrangement)
Keeping the children’s rooms and playroom clean and tidy
Children’s laundry (local housekeeper attends several times per week)
Key requirements
A proactive, capable and efficient approach
Have plenty of previous experience with the relevant age groups
UK or EU passport essential (UK residents must check the expiry date of their passport and have the full 90-days remaining to visit the EU)
Confident driver with a clean manual driving licence
Fully vaccinated against covid-19
Fit, energetic and warm personality
Fluent English essential
Strong swimming ability
French-speaking candidates are preferred but are not essential as the family are British
