Live in Nanny needed for international family in Paris

Start date: September/early October (will wait for the right person)

Accommodation: Separate studio apartment when in Paris
Duties: An experienced and ideally qualified English speaking Nanny (with the right to work in EU - ie EU passport/work permit for France) is required to join a busy International family, providing care for their 3 year old son (at school 9am - 12pm 5x per week during term time). The position will mainly be based in Paris during term time, but the family also travel extensively (European locations such as Greece, Italy, UK and Switzerland) as well as other locations out of Europe. In Paris the nanny will be provided with her own studio apartment, when travelling there will usually be own bedroom whenever possible. Ideally the nanny will be familiar with the Montessori approach and be an excellent cook (it is crucial that the candidate has an understanding of nutrition) to cook lovely meals for the little boy. Nursery duties (child related) will be expected as well - the family employ a housekeeper as well. This is a 5 days a week position but the nanny must be extremely flexible and work the occasional extra half day/full day, especially when travelling. Mum is hands on when around and usually spends a lot of time with the little boy , giving the nanny extra time off - but when working/travelling, there will be more hours required in exchange. Additional holidays offered (above the usual statutory).
