English speaking Nanny in Paris 15th

A family of professional parents residing in the 15th arrondissement of Paris are looking for an English-speaking nanny to take care of their 2.5-year-old baby boy.

The little boy is already bilingual and is going to a bilingual school, which is why the family are looking for an English-speaking nanny.

In the morning, one of the parents drops him off at school. He stays for lunch in the canteen and school ends at 4 p.m., when the nanny will pick him up.

The nanny will start her day at 3:30 p.m. at the family home, pick up his pushchair and essentials, and pick up the little boy from school. They will both have a snack, go to the park for an hour and a half. At 5.30 p.m. they will be back home and the nanny will take care of dinner for the little boy, at 5.45 p.m. it will be shower time, at 6 p.m. it will be dinner time which will have been prepared by the cook, bedtime will be at 6.30 p.m. Before leaving at 8:30 p.m., the nanny will have to take care of the preparations for the next day (breakfast, milk in the bottles, etc.) in order to free up parents' time in the morning. The nanny will have to make sure that nothing is missing (diapers, milk, snacks, socks, etc.).

On Wednesdays, school ends at 12 noon. The nanny will come to the family home at 11:30 am to collect the pushchair and return for lunch. The nanny will work until 8:30 p.m.

During the 11 weeks of school holidays the nanny will work from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm for 6 weeks. It is very likely that the little boy will go to workshops for 5 weeks of school holidays, but the hours will be those of the school weeks.

The family wants the nanny to stay 3 evenings a week to provide cover for any dinner or business meetings that is scheduled the previous weekend. In addition, if possible, it could be appreciated to cover 3 hours on Saturdays.

The family is looking for someone who is trustworthy, experienced, very organised, rigorous, applying their principles of education, politeness and respect of others. The nanny should also be cheerful, caring, dynamic, warm and kind.

She will have to make sure that the day-to-day is well established so that parents can spend quality time with their son.

Although kind, the candidate should be firm and be able to follow the educational values ​​of parents with the little boy. The family makes it a point of honor that the little boy is not raised as a " king of the castle ‘´. He will have to help the nanny to set the table, to put away his toys, his books etc.

The nanny will be, apart from the tasks related to the little boy, responsible to shop for him and to do administrative tasks (making appointments with doctors, hairdressers, etc.) when these will not be taken care of by the parents.

The nanny will not be responsible for the needs of the parents, nor for keeping the family home. A housekeeper who also cooks is employed by the family.
