English speaking Nanny & Governess in Cap D’Ail, France

This young, active and happy family based in Cap D’Ail but with homes elsewhere too are urgently searching for a UK qualified teacher/tutor to work with their children aged 7-3, with most hours focused on weekends and after school. The children are very active but this is predominantly an educationally focused role, with some childcare, learn through play etc. It’s a live-in role however they may consider live-out if someone already lives nearby, or for an exceptional candidate. Holidays are generally spent skiing in Megeve, or on a yacht, so sporty and active is essential. The children are also very interested in music, so musical knowledge is an advantage too. Housekeepers etc are employed, this is purely child focused. You must be a confident swimmer, and also a confident driver.

Salary will be dependent on experience, but likely to be in the region of €3500-4000 per month.

Location: Cap D’Ail, France

Ages of Children: Boy 7, Girls 6 and 4, 3 year old occasionally. Main focus on older children.

Role: Governess focused on Tutoring, but some childcare

Days/Hours of work: Saturday and Sunday full days, Weds afternoon, 2-3 other after school.

Salary Range: €3500-4000 per month, live-in

Accommodation: None provided, but happy to consider live-out if you have accommodation nearby..

Essential: Active, energetic, cheerful, relevant age group experience, excellent references from previous long term roles. Fluent written and spoken English. Knowledge of KS1/2 and UK curriculum. Confident swimmer. Confident Driver.

Preferred: Qualified Teacher – QTS, PGCE. Able to interview ASAP and start in September/October. Musical experience/knowledge. EU passport.
