English speaking Live in Nanny in central Paris

English Speaking Nanny – Paris – EUR 800-900 per week, depending on experience
Wonderful family with an intelligent and inquisite 3 yo boy is looking for a nanny before and after school. The family provide a wonderful studio only 5 mins away on foot in a beautiful area of Paris for the nanny so you will have plenty of privacy. The little boy attends a bilingual Montessori school and you will be in charge of school drop off, 3pm pick up, take him to activities, prepare his dinner and put him to bed. We are looking for someone with flexibility to work some weekends as mum travels for work and so there will be some proxy parenting.

The family work from home and this allows them to travel extensively to Europe (Switzerland, Italy, Greece etc) and they’re looking for someone friendly, flexible and open-minded, with the ability to be both spontaneous whilst keeping a good routine and discipline. Any knowledge of learning techniques and approaches (e.g. Montessori), sports and creativity are a bonus. The role is focussed 100% on their son and his development and growth. The parents are hands-on when they are around, especially the boy’s mother, but would love the chance to have a nanny they can rely on to have some time to themselves as well. That said, when they are with him, the nanny is often not required.

The family have a small dog so in the mornings you will take him with you for a walk when you drop off the little boy to school as well.

The ideal candidate will be warm, nurturing and fun, the family are after someone who is easy-going. Flexibility is important in this role

Salary: EUR 800-900 per week, depending on experience

Days of work: 5 days/week. Wraparound school care when child is at school and 12 hour days when not at school.
