Live in Bilingual Spanish and Nanny required to care for one Girl aged 2.5 years old.
This sweet family are looking for a loving, calm and engaging nanny to stay long-term and become a part of the family.
The Mother is having a second baby, due end of November and so will be very busy nursing the new child. Some assistance now and then may be required with the new baby but the 2.5 year old will be your main focus.
They will occasionally ask you to travel abroad with them on family holidays.
Ideally you will have a proven record of working in long-term positions with at least three years’ experience as a nanny or household staff in a private house with excellent references.
Requirements:
• English and Spanish speaking
• Proficient and confident at cooking
• Notable experience with young toddlers and babies
• Childcare qualifications desired but significant experience will be considered
• Must have a valid passport to travel
• Bilingual - English and Spanish necessary
• Proficient/confident driving abilities with drivers licence (any country) preferred (but not necessary)
• Able to swim confidently with 2.5 yr old preferred (but not necessary)
Details:
• Some additional flexibility would be appreciated for ad hoc requirements and/or schedules changes
• There will be some Summer travel required with the family to Italy and potentially other countries
• Wonderful large house with a garden in Primrose Hill
You will need to be able to illustrate experience and confidence taking care of children, be comfortable taking autonomy over relevant nursery duties and working both in sole care and alongside Mummy. Nursery duties may include keeping the nursery clean/tidy, stocked and laundry of the baby’s clothing.
Cooking duties may include shopping for groceries locally and preparing and cooking fresh, organic meals for the child and occasionally parents if required. All equipment, resources and supplies will be made available. Helpfulness around the house, when time permits, would also be appreciated (tidying, organising, laundry, etc), however a separate cleaner also comes weekly.
It is desired that your role will assist with fun, creative and developing activities for the child such as visits to the park, swimming, hobbies, educational playtime, etc.
The child is proficient in Spanish for her age.
