Job Summary:

Daily nanny role available 30 minutes from London, mostly shared charge but sole will be included on occasion. Mother has a baby due in November and is looking for an energetic, proactive nanny who can assist with the care of their 2-year-old girl who attends nursery in the mornings and attends afternoon classes. Nanny duties are to include stimulated activities for their toddler, nursery pickups, 1-2-1 play time and help with her development whilst her Mother will be busy, caring for her new-born baby.

Mother has taken a year off, so is currently home and will be returning to work in November 2022.

General duties:

Mix of shared and sole childcare duties
Planning fun & stimulating activities particularly for the toddler
Encourage the Montessori method (family use this approach at home)
Nursery pick ups
Helping prepare lunch, and setting up the table
Settle toddler for an afternoon nap
Laundry for the children
Cooking for the children (extra batches for the parents on occasion would be a bonus)
Engaging and entertaining the toddler and baby once reached a few months old
Assist with child development, following a child led approach with guidance from nanny

Candidate requirements:

Must have toddler experience
Must be Native Greek or from Cyprus
Experience with the Montessori approach as family encourage a child-led development
Proactive, with the energy required to keep up with a toddler
