English or German speaking daily Nanny in Chelsea, London

Friendly, professional international family are looking for a live-out Nanny to join look after their children. 2 are at school and they have a baby at home.

The position would best suit an energetic, capable nanny who is well educated, sporty, a team player and who genuinely adores working with children and helping them achieve their goals and ultimately independence.

They would like nanny to speak either English or German without any accent. They are looking for a kind, caring and organised person who adores children. They have 2 children at school (aged 6y and 4y) and a baby at home. Both parents work full time. Mum is about to return to work after maternity leave. Their Maternity Nurse will leave in November, but their full time live in housekeeper will be able to support nanny, so that she does not need to look after all 3 children at the same time. However, a nanny who has sole charge experience of 2 or 3 children could have a great chance of securing this position.
Mum is hands on, but open to advice and help. She works long hours, so she needs the nanny to be very capable and be able to fully take over the care of the children, and organising their lives.
Nanny will be responsible for the school run, children's diaries, social and other activities, homework and school uniform etc. Nanny will work closely with the housekeeper, so she needs to be a confident team player and a good communicator with adults as well as children.

The right nanny will be a good role model for the children and will be able to answer the children's questions and help develop their knowledge, skills and interests. Someone with a good education would be preferred.
The children are active and sporty and having a nanny who shares an interest in sport would be helpful. They are happy to go out frequently, whether to kick a ball around, go swimming or to play tennis at the park.

The 4 and 6 year olds have homework and need nanny to be able to support them in completing it.

The day will be spent mostly with the baby, taking her to the park and baby groups, setting up fun, interesting and educational activities both indoor and out. You are happy to get down on the floor and play at the baby's level. You will be very developmentally focused, ideally with a university degree.

You will have experience with babies and toddlers and guiding them through the developmental stages such as weaning and potty training.

You will be a proactive and organised self-starter. They have a full time live in housekeeper, however, you will be responsible for child related tasks, such as laundry, cooking meals - on occasion, tidying up after play and eating.

They are looking for someone to join the family on a long-term basis and form a strong bond with their children.
