A friendly family are searching for a Live IN Russian Speaking Governess to care for their 10-year old girl. The family is based near to Kings Cross, London. Knowledge of English is essential because the main duties in the governess job will include helping with homework, accompany to doctors, coordinating and providing child’s leisure activities, extra curriculum and educational excursions, communicating with school teachers and providing family assisting support while the girl is at school.

The child is inquisitive and active we are therefore looking for an energetic and proactive governess. We are searching for a sporty and friendly companion for the girl who will take care of her physical and intellectual development. The family are looking for a Russian speaker as the family and other staff speak Russian at home.

There is a Russian speaking nanny employed by the family for 7 years. Her duties include everyday needs, such as cooking, wardrobe care, teaching Russian etc. Therefore the duties of the governess will cover the “English side”.

This governess / PA job will involve international travel with the family and we are therefore looking for a candidate who is flexible and has the necessary documents required for travel.
The family are looking for an educated governess / PA with good knowledge of the UK teaching methods and who has had experience working in a private family. They must have a genuine love for children, must be a caring and a friendly person. We are only seeking candidates that have similar experience of working to an exceptionally high level with children of a similar age, who could help with the social and cultural development of the child, encourage self-awareness and creativity.

Excellent accommodation is provided for a successful candidate. The accommodation is a flat with a separate entrance, a kitchen, a living room, a bedroom and a bathroom.

Duties of a Live IN Russian Speaking Governess:

Making sure that the child is achieving educational milestones
Helping with homework
Helping with the social and cultural development of the child, encourage self-awareness and creativity
Working in partnership with the family to provide care and educational development for child
Promoting the child’s intellectual, educational, and social development through a range of activities
Coordinating and providing child’s leisure activities, extra curriculum and educational excursions
Providing a positive learning environment
Teaching etiquette and promoting good manners and behaviour
Planning and organising stimulating age-appropriate activities with an educational focus
Providing family assisting support
Requirements for a Live IN Governess in London:

Fluent English
Good Russian
At least 3 years of professional childcare, teaching experience in a classroom or homeschool setting, and/or family assisting experience
Have excellent references
Sporty
Friendly
