We are looking for a kind, gentle but firm, reliable, and energetic SPANISH SPEAKING Nanny to have sole charge of an active and sporty 5-year-old girl Monday to Friday. The family need someone flexible who is happy to work around 35 hours in term time and up to 50 hours in some of the school holidays (when they are not away). They can offer a blended salary based on working 40 hours each week and they are flexible about how this is configured but ideally working from 11.30/12-6.30/7 pm in term time.

You need to be a self-starter and able to plan your time, be flexible with the hours and enjoy doing a varied job supporting with care for the little girl as well as some nanny duties for her and simple family cooking. Ideally you love to cook, are organised, fun and responsible.

They would like to find someone who can fit into their family and someone their daughter will love spending time with and chatting to. She is a very bright child, and they want her nanny to engage with her, plan playdates, encourage her and make her afternoons fun.

LOCATION: Earls Court, SW5

START: ASAP/April

DAYS: Monday to Friday (or Thursday)

HOURS: 11.30/12-6.30/7 pm

Approximately 35 hours per week in term time and up to 45/50 hours in some weeks during school holidays.

PAY: £17-18 gross per hour + (depending on experience)

EXPERIENCE: minimum of 4 years nannying experience with school age children from 5 years old. You need to have good English and be a native Spanish speaker. Supporting and encouraging children with simple reading and homework as well as planning fun activities/days out in holidays. Previous experience cooking simple but healthy meals is required. Responsible to pick up from school, organise playdates and fun days out in school holidays. Responsibility for all nanny duties and general tidying and organisation around the child.

PERSONALITY: reliable, switched on, happy, easy going, affectionate, enthusiastic, calm, caring, energetic, loving, outdoorsy, nurturing, kind, fun, positive, flexible, patient person who is well-organised, trustworthy, independent, "can do" attitude, responsible, punctual, warm, positive, and motivated.

DUTIES:
- Collecting the child from school by walking (25 minutes) or tube
- Generally supporting her with any extra-curricular activities
- Supervising simple homework and ensuring this is done properly as she gets older
- Playing and engaging with her in Spanish and planning days out in holidays
- Preparing simple healthy fresh meals for the family
- Helping manage the child’s bedroom, her laundry, tidying and organizing, etc.
- Organising her school uniform
- Helping organise activities, playdates, and other commitments.
- Occasional babysitting on a Friday night once or twice per month
